Timelapse of Growing Mustard Seed Microgreens (Sinapis alba) in a Heimgart Growing Tray

At the Biolapse Botanical Timelapse Studio, the growth process of mustard seed microgreens (Sinapis alba) from the mustard family (Brassicaceae) was captured. The seeds were germinated in a Heimgart growing tray — a compact and stylish system for indoor cultivation of microgreens that allows optimal light and air flow for healthy development.

During the recording, a total of 867 images were taken at 10-minute intervals. For the timelapse film, a selection of these images was combined into a smooth 4K resolution video (3820×2160). The film shows how the young shoots quickly rise and unfold.

Biolapse creates high-quality timelapse films that reveal the hidden life of plants — perfect for strengthening your story, whether it’s for promotion, education, product presentation, or inspiring content for social media and campaigns.
