In the Biolapse Botanical Timelapse studio, the blooming of the Kalanchoë (Kalanchoë blossfeldiana) has been meticulously recorded. This succulent plant from the Crassulaceae family slowly but steadily unfolds its vibrant flowers—a process normally invisible to the naked eye but revealed in this timelapse.
During the recording process, 5637 images were captured at 10-minute intervals. A carefully selected selection of these images forms this 4K video (3840×2160).
The footage is available in Apple ProRes 422 and can be licensed for professional use.
